In this role, you’ll help develop, manage, and sustain a profitable book of E&S casualty business while delivering exceptional technical expertise and service. You’ll work closely with retail agency partners and be responsible for building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate insurance broker submissions to identify exposures and required coverages
- Manage service and market placement of commercial insurance accounts
- Maintain strong, dependable relationships with retail agencies and brokerages; conduct marketing calls as needed
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers and retail brokers
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and available markets
- Identify suitable markets for coverage needs and request quotes accordingly
- Prepare submissions and coordinate market placements
- Review quotes and contract provisions to ensure coverage and compliance
- Negotiate and bind new and renewal business in collaboration with the Broker
- Ensure all required documentation is accurately maintained and attached to the appropriate policy or account
