    Description

    Seal & Design, Inc. is a family owned company founded and located in Clarence, NY with three divisions located across the U.S. and Canada. Our product line includes gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded products, die-cut foams, and many other specific products for all kinds of sealing applications. We provide superior products to our customers across many industries, including: Automotive, Medical, Military, Aerospace, Electronics, Power Generation, Hydraulics, and HVAC.

    • Arrives to work on time, as scheduled, and follows the company attendance policy
    • Operates machinery safely according to company policies
    • Follows job specifications as detailed on the job card
    • Records start, completion of job, and materials used
    • Performs first-piece inspection and in-process inspection in accordance to the job requirements
    • Advises Lead Operator or QC of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends production until issue is resolved; escalates to Plant Mgr. if needed
    • Completes preventative maintenance on machines as required
    • Maintains proper housekeeping during and at the end of work shift
    • Meets or exceeds department production efficiency and productivity goals
    • Cross trained to work across various departments to fill staffing and training gaps to meet production needs/deadlines
    • Observes safety and security procedures

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 2 years of job specific experience
    • Skilled in one or more of the following areas:  CNC, Travelhead, Beam Press, Handcuts/Vulc.,
    • Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software
    • Basic math & language skills
    • Ability to read & interpret blueprints
    • Good mechanical aptitude
