Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of hand tools safely and effectively to support manufacturing processes
- Move materials and supplies to designated work areas, ensuring proper handling and safety
- Perform welding operations according to specifications and safety standards
- Produce sound, attractive welds that meet quality and durability requirements
- Clean parts and welds to ensure finished products meet quality standards
- Read and interpret shop blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks
- Change welding tips, nozzles, liners, and other components as needed to maintain equipment performance
- Perform other related functions as assigned by supervisors to support team objectives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in welding, including knowledge of different welding techniques (e.g., MIG)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools and welding equipment maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to welding and manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
