Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM + Potential overtime

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
• Must provide personal welding helmet and basic hand tools.

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience performing MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
• Strong proficiency welding stainless steel using TIG and MIG processes and carbon steel using MIG welding.
• Ability to independently set up welding equipment, select appropriate materials, and adjust machine settings.
• Experience welding a variety of material thicknesses, from 20-gauge sheet metal to thick-wall tubing.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently perform bending, reaching, and repetitive motions while welding and fabricating components.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to safely operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment.

Job Duties

• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Inspect completed welds to verify strength, appearance, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
• Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet product and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet production schedules, customer deadlines, and quality expectations.
• Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and manufacturing standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

What You Will Do

As a Production Welder you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.

A Production Welder fabricates and repairs metal assemblies using MIG welding techniques while supporting quality manufacturing operations. This role requires technical knowledge, mechanical ability, and consistent attention to detail throughout the welding process.

The Production Welder combines blueprint interpretation, welding equipment setup, material preparation, and quality inspection to produce finished components that meet engineering specifications. Strong workmanship helps ensure reliable finished products.
