Production Woodworker

Our client, a leader in custom woodworking and construction support, is seeking a dedicated Production Woodworker to join their team. As a Production Woodworker, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department, supporting the creation of high-quality flooring, staircases, and other wood projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work well in a team environment and follow safety protocols. Your skills and positive attitude will help ensure the success of the team and contribute to the company's reputation for excellence.

Job Title: Production Woodworker

Location: Kingston, NY

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to start with pay increases based on performance and attendance.

Shift: 1st shift, hours are generally from 8:00 - 8:30 am to 4:00 - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on client needs.

What's the Job?

• Assist in the wood shop with custom flooring, staircases, and other woodworking projects.
• Feed lumber into or offload from machines, ensuring smooth workflow and safety.
• Sand, stack, and inspect lumber for quality and consistency.
• Use hand or power tools to sand or route wood components.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area to promote safety and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Prior woodworking experience; training provided on custom processes. 
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. as needed.
• Neat and clean casual dress code with work boots. 
• Creative design experience or education is a plus for selecting and matching wood grains for design patterns.
