PRODUCTION WORKER
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. Our headquarters is located in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for energetic, motivated, and results-driven individuals to join our Production Team.
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30am - 3:00pm Pay: $19.50 per hour, plus a $750 sign-on bonus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Stack and dump 55 pounds or lesser units of raw materials into the mixer. • Discharge mixed material into bags of various weights. • Pack and/or place taphole clay or plastic products into pails or boxes. • Heat seal or valve pack finished material bags. • Palletize bags of various weights and sizes. • Shrink or stretch wrap completed pallets in preparation for shipping. • Add water and/or liquids to wet mixer. • Occasionally operate the forklift safely and efficiently, as required, after successfully passing the required forklift test. • Clean mixer equipment and general work area. • Weigh bonds. • Perform labeling and housekeeping. • Operate and complete warehouse movements using RF Scanning equipment. • Follow company rules and regulations. • Strive to reduce accidents, personal injuries, and potential hazards. • Work safely. • Report all accidents immediately to supervision. • Report to supervisor of conditions that are believed to be unsafe or potentially hazardous.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Strong work ethic Dependable and able to follow instructions Good math skills Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. Must be able to read, speak, and write English Outstanding Attendance Production or Forklift experience is a plus Must be at least 18 years old

REQUIREMENTS
The ability to pass a drug screen and physical to wear a respirator is required prior to starting work, should an offer be made.
