What You'll Do as a Production Worker:- Perform production line work on first shift, including operating presses to produce biodegradable feed drums
- Feed materials into presses and remove finished drums from the production line
- Assist with general production tasks to support consistent workflow and output
- Occasionally make local deliveries using a company pickup truck and trailer (under 10,000 lbs., no CDL required)
- Operate a forklift or learn to operate one safely as part of production duties
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals
- Assist in overseeing the production process and support supervision of two production workers when needed
- Follow safety practices and procedures while handling equipment, materials, and vehicles
What You Need to Bring to the Production Worker Role:- Forklift experience preferred, or willingness and ability to be trained
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely drive a pickup truck with a trailer, or willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to take on added responsibility by filling in for a supervisor as needed
- Availability to work first shift in a production environment
