ATI is currently seeking a Production Worker for our Atomizer department in the Oakdale, PA facility.
In this position, you are an essential part of the atomization process, which involves the formation of powder from molten metal using high-pressure inert gas. The powder metal will go through several steps before it is turned back into a solid, making it a stronger, more durable material that will be utilized in aerospace, nuclear, and national defense applications.
This position requires mechanical aptitude, accurate measuring, and utilization of hand and power tools efficiently while operating the atomizing unit. This includes preparation of the melt chamber, equipment charging, furnace monitoring, heat chemistries, and preparation of liquid pour for atomizing.
