Production Worker – Cold Environment

Location: San Antonio, TX 78223
Pay Rate: $13.25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

Job Summary

A busy meat processing facility in San Antonio is seeking dependable Production Workers to join their team. This position works in a cold processing environment and involves handling raw pork, chicken, and beef throughout various stages of production.

Responsibilities

• Move meat products through different stages of the production process
• Trim excess fat from meat products
• Assist with marinating and preparing products
• Package finished meat products
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company policies and PPE requirements
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods
• Comfortable working with raw pork, chicken, and beef
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift and move products as required
• Dependable and punctual
• Previous food production or meat processing experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

This position is performed in a cold production environment. Employees will work directly with raw meat products and must be comfortable working around pork, chicken, and beef.

Pay: $13.25/hour
