Job Title: Production Worker (Inserter Sweeper)

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Note: Onsite interview required.
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate.
The Production Worker (Inserter Sweeper) supports the Insert Operator in running high-volume mail insertion equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail to ensure accurate mail sorting and quality control throughout the production process. The position involves repetitive tasks, standing, and pushing large paper rolls on carts.
Review job tickets to ensure correct client specifications and machine configuration.
Assist with operating insertion equipment and monitor final product for:
Proper folding and sealing
Correct address alignment through the window
Correct sequence and delivery order
Sort completed mail according to US Government Client and PSI guidelines.
Help achieve daily production targets, including:
#10 envelope jobs: 120,000–150,000 pages inserted
6x9 envelope jobs: 220,000–250,000 pages inserted
Assist in achieving job changeover times of 20 minutes or less.
Multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Report any equipment malfunctions or service needs to the Production Supervisor or onsite technician.
Follow all established SOPs, safety rules, and production guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Notify Supervisor immediately of any quality issues.
Perform additional production floor duties as assigned.
Ability to push and maneuver large paper rolls on carts.
Ability to stand for full shift and perform repetitive motions.
Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English.
Prior production, warehouse, or mailroom experience is helpful but not required – training provided.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
