• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday - Thursday

**Pay Rate

: $21/hr. on W2

**Description:

**Summary:

**

Clean a variety of products and perform other related tasks within the work centers associated with producing quality natural gas distribution products according to the required company and industry standards. Each operator is responsible for working in a safe and efficient manner as prescribed by company policy.

**

**

**Responsibilities:

**

• Clean and package natural gas line products utilizing existing and new equipment, machinery and processes necessary to complete the production in a safe, quality conforming, and efficient manner.

• Perform assigned operations as specified in various manuals, work instructions, or as instructed by supervisor.

• Perform all tasks assigned at workstation. Seek assistance from the supervisor for other equipment changes or repairs.

• Check the shop packet for correctness of materials, assembly tools, and gauges before and during each manufacturing operation.

• Perform visual inspections of manufactured products to verify conformance with Quality standards.

• Packaging and labeling of finished or semi-finished products for the assigned workstation.

• Accurate reporting of shop floor data related to production, quality, and safety; both manually and electronically.

• Communicate any process concerns with Team Lead or supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Each operator is responsible for housekeeping and organization within the assigned workstation, including the daily removal of unrelated materials, overages, waste, and scrap.

• Locate, transport, store, stage, and deliver all types of materials related to the manufacturing process from raw goods to finished goods.

**Other Duties:

**

• Responsible for reporting safety issues and work-related incidents as they arise to the Supervisor.

• Understand objectives and measures of the Honeywell Safety and Environmental system as follows: prevent pollution, injuries and hazards, to continually improve, and to follow legal requirements.

• Perform normal daily operator tasks that may require and include cleaning, greasing, and lubricating.

• Employees with specialized training or certifications may be required to rotate to different workstations and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. May be required to use or operate hand trucks, carts, barrel trucks, and electric mule.

• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, and productivity.

**Knowledge, skills & abilities:

**

• Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift except for designated break periods, lift/carry up to 35 pounds short distances to and from work area, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop and kneel, occasionally reach over shoulder/head height, manipulate and assemble small parts with one’s hands.

• Ability to interface with computers and manufacturing software.

**Education & Experience Requirements:

**

• High school diploma (or GED equivalent).

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English Language.

• Ability to accurately perform basic addition and subtraction mathematics for recordkeeping purposes.
