Location: Altavista, VA 24517
Shift: 3rd Shift 6 PM to 06:30 AM
Duration: 6-month contract, with possible extension


Position Summary:
Production Worker I supports manufacturing operations by inspecting, labeling, and packaging raw and finished products. Work is performed in a production environment under moderate supervision, with adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all site safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw and finished products for defects, damage, and conformance to specifications.
• Label and package raw and finished products according to established work instructions.
• Maintain production and quality records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as required.
• Work in a clean-room environment as assigned, following all gowning and contamination-control procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and OSHA requirements on the production floor.
• Escalate quality issues, equipment concerns, or material shortages to the supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift/carry materials as required.
• Attention to detail for inspection, labeling, and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and follow written work instructions.
