A Japanese based company that has been brewing quality soy sauce since 1645 is seeking Production Workers in their Pressing Department
Job Title: Production Worker - Pressing Department - DAY SHIF
Pay: $16.75/hour
Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
What you will Do-
As a Production Worker - Pressing Dept, you will be responsible for:
- Extracting soy compound from industrial mixers, sifting compound through filtering cloths, using industrial pressing machines to extract soy compounds from filtered mixture
- Receiving raw materials
- Batch processing raw materials
- Administering initial Koji preparation
- Tracking of raw materials use
- Lot tracking of intermediate and final products to assure accuracy
- Sampling of work-in-progress for QC functions
- Move press cages between press areas during operation.
What we are looking for-
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Ability to frequently move 50 lbs.
- ?Willingness to work at heights above 10 feet as there is an upper level where some of the production work is performed within an enclosed area
- Ability to work independently and be a self starter
- Ability to stand in one place for long periods of time
Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Salem, Oregon and offers full-time hours.
