Job Description
Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest is hiring a full-time Production Operator in Sedalia, MO to bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel bars for customer orders. To qualify, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, have U.S. work authorization, and be able to perform physical labor in a safety-sensitive environment.

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy machinery including shearing, bending, power saw, and automated Fabmatic machines to cut and shape rebar
Utilize overhead cranes to move, assemble, select, and load steel materials onto trailers
Unload incoming trailers, organize materials in storage bins, and apply epoxy touch-up via spray guns
Maintain a safe, clean shop workspace and collaborate with team members on assigned shop tasks

Qualifications
Position Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent
Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Ability to handle physical work demands, heavy lifting, and varied shop conditions (noisy, dusty, hot, cold)
Flexibility to work any shift and perform required overtime in a safety-sensitive role
