Production Worker

Job Position: Production Worker

Location: Sugar Grove, IL 60554

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr:

Monday through Friday 6am - 2:15pm

Job Responsibilities: Production Associates load parts onto fixtures, test customers product according to specifications written in the Manufacturing Work Instructions, visually inspect customers product for appropriate coating coverage, and record results on test logs.

Installs or removes masking tape or plastic from areas on product that are designated to be free of plating.
Notifies the Crew Leader / Machine Operator if product description or quantity deviates from carton label.
Places product on fixtures to prepare for metal spray coating inside machine
Visually-inspects raw product for contamination and/or molding defects and fills out a Quality Issue Report (Pink Sheet) if defects are found.
Monitors the condition and quantity of masking supplies and reports problems to the Crew Leader / Machine Operator.
Informs Crew Leader / Machine Operator of any broken or unusable fixtures or fixture cavities.
Removes product from carriages after coating and brings it to the area designated by the MWI s.
Identifies proper in-process test log sheet for product being tested.
Inspects parts for defects and Informs Crew Leader / Machine Operator of all parts that have failed tests.
Ensures the masking and fixtures are stored properly and that masking, loading, and testing stations are neat, clean, and organized at the end of each shift.
Informs Crew Leader / Machine Operator of any problems that are encountered during the shift.
Hands in completed Test Log sheets to the Production Supervisor at the end of each shift.
Is a part of Quality Team inspecting parts as processed.


Job Requirements:

Must be able to work on your feet standing all day, static floor mats are provided
Must be very detail oriented , quality minded, to check that parts do not have any dents, abrasions or other issues
Not afraid to speak up if something is too heavy, if they are having trouble with a machine maybe broken?
Must be able to make note and document what they did each day, written on logs.
Basic understanding of verbal and written English is required
