Job Title: Production Worker Duration: 12 months, possibility of extension Location: Vandergrift, PA Shift: Mon-Thurs (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) PPE: Workers must wear steel-toed shoes. Client will provide other PPE. Job Description: To support operations within a manufacturing or pilot production environment. This role is responsible for performing a variety of production, assembly, material handling, inspection, and equipment support tasks in accordance with established work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee Hegla Galactic fully automated glass cutting equipment to cut glass lites to required sizes for production in IGUs and windows Perform manual glass separation of discrete glass sheets from mother sheets Load glass carts and stage materials for production sequencing Inspect incoming glass and completed IGUs for defects Operate lift-assist equipment to move IGUs (up to 50 lbs) from the production line onto stationary A-frames or carts Work closely with Operations Supervisors and Engineering teams to identify glass defects, equipment issues, or process challenges Build crates for IGU storage and shipping; stage completed parts for freight pickup Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required; Technology AAS degree preferred 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or other industrial environments Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work effectively in a team environment Tool Usage and Lifting Requirements: Basic knowledge of hand tools required for occasional equipment adjustments or modifications Use of suction cup tools for handling and moving large flat glass pieces Some tasks may require a two-person lift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, though not in high volume or repetitive frequency requiredI
