Production Worker

Our client is a leading provider of pressure-treated wood products and is seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will perform a variety of manual tasks to support the production and maintenance operations of our facility. This role requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools as needed.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Assist in various production processes, such as sorting, stacking, and packaging products.
• Support maintenance activities, including cleaning equipment and assisting with repairs.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in general labor, construction, or a related field is a plus.  
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
