Position Summary

Lantex Window Fashions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custom Blinds Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling custom window coverings, including fabric blinds, shades, and other specialty products according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works well with their hands, and is committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble custom blinds, shades, and window treatment components according to work orders and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Install hardware, headrails, cords, brackets, and other blind components.
• Operate hand tools, measuring devices, and light production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Package finished products for shipment while ensuring product protection and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read measurements accurately using a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Experience working with custom products, window treatments, or fabrication is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Repetitive use of hands and arms throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be required based on production demands
