Job Summary We are looking for Personal care assistants and CNAs to join our team! You will be directly working with clients, following a one-on-one care plan in client's homes. You'll operate with a big heart, not only providing personalize and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets client's needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. Responsibilities
Provide personal hygiene assistance
Help clients take prescribed medication
Assist clients with ambulation
Care for clients by changing bed linens, laundry, meal prep, and light cleaning of the home
Maintain records of client's care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
Build relationships with clients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Provide transportation for the client or complete client's errands
Engage with clients with exercises or other activities
Certified Nurse Aide Certification (not required, but highly recommended) through successful completion of an approved program
Demonstrated ability to read, write and carry out directions
One year-full time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting (not required, but highly recommended)
