Professional Civil Engineer / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join our team as a Project Manager. If you have 8+ years of site/civil engineering experience and are ready to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, and mentor junior engineers, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

You’ll lead projects from concept through completion while working closely with developers, municipalities, consultants, contractors, and internal team members.

What You’ll Do

• Lead site/civil and land development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Oversee site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and related civil design.
• Navigate New Jersey permitting and regulatory requirements and coordinate with municipalities and agencies.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and help develop long-term relationships.
• Review plans and technical deliverables and maintain a high standard of quality.
• Coordinate with surveying, environmental, planning, and other project disciplines.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Participate in proposals, client presentations, and business development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of relevant site/civil engineering experience.
• Active New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Proven experience managing civil/site development projects.
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting.
• Experience working with New Jersey municipalities and regulatory agencies is highly valued.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and client-management skills.
• Ability to lead projects independently while managing and mentoring a team.
• Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
