Join a dynamic healthcare education team at Emerson Health System! Were looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Professional Development Associate to support nursing education, staff training, and professional development programs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating programs, working behind the scenes, and making a real impact on clinical excellence and patient care.

What Youll Do:

  • Coordinate new hire nursing orientation programs, including scheduling, materials, and logistics
  • Support staff training, continuing education, and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with Nurse Residency Programs, student placements, and clinical experiences
  • Manage education program logistics (room setup, attendance tracking, evaluations)
  • Maintain records and documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support American Heart Association (AHA) training programs (BLS, ACLS, HeartCode)
  • Collaborate with educators to support interprofessional learning and development programs
  • Assist with accreditation requirements and reporting (ANCC, ANA)
  • Provide administrative support, including handling emails, calls, and departmental coordination

What Were Looking For:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative, office management, or healthcare support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information and work independently
