The Professional Development & Employee Experience Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a positive and engaging employee experience across the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. This position coordinates professional development programs, employee engagement initiatives, conferences, and student employment activities while providing responsive customer service and administrative support for Human Resources operations. The coordinator works closely with employees, applicants, campus partners, and other stakeholders to help deliver organized, efficient, and employee-focused HR programs and services. Job Duties - Coordinate professional development, employee engagement, leadership, mentorship, recognition, conference, and student employment programs and initiatives across the Division. - Bring programs and events to life by coordinating schedules, registrations, facilities, catering, travel, presenters, vendors, audiovisual needs, materials, and participant communications. - Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives that foster connection and positive employee experience, including GEMS, divisional awards, appreciation events, fellowships, and other employee-focused programs. - Develop and coordinate program communications and resources, including presentations, training materials, newsletters, website content, promotional materials, surveys, evaluations, and reports. - Maintain program calendars, registration systems, participation records, documentation, and assessment data to support reporting and continuous improvement. - Serve as a go-to resource for the HR office, providing responsive and professional customer service to employees, applicants, supervisors, campus partners, presenters, and visitors. - Provide administrative and operational support for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, position management, student employment, organizational development, purchasing, travel, records management, and other HR activities. - Partner with the finance team to support timely processing of HR-related payments, including travel, memberships, GEMS, and professional development expenses, while contributing to special projects and other Division and HR initiatives. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to provide and understand the importance of excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
