We also offer training to newer PEs in various transportation utilities aviation and vertical construction projects.Job RequirementsAs an Aviation Engineer you will lead and manage aviation construction for airport projects including runway extensions reconstruction of runways taxiways aprons and possible vertical infrastructure such as hangars.Manage budgets and schedules for assigned airport projects and be the client contact to city airport officials and stakeholders.Responsible for the construction management and oversite of airport construction.Serves as a client contact to airport boardscommissions and airport clients as assigned.Coordinates construction administration and monitors all documentation requirements with field staff and daily documentation.Assists with the training and development of professional and technical inspection staff.Travels periodically to work sites and other project related locations.RequiredBachelors degree in Civil Engineering and Licensed Professional Engineer1-5 years experience in the civil engineering field within construction managementcontract administrationinspection of public works projects.Airport infrastructure would be nice to have but training is provided.Why CEI For over 28 years CEI has valued our people as our biggest asset and provide an exceptional Compensation and Benefits Package with low or no out of pocket costs.
