Responsibilities

• Create and publish detailed technical materials for global distribution.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Alcon medical devices and customer needs.
• Collaborate with other technical writers to produce comprehensive documentation.
• Contribute to the monthly technical newsletter and other business documents.
• Ensure project deadlines are consistently met.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience in technical publications for electronic equipment.
• Experience in creating documents for print and digital media.
• Strong working knowledge of document creation tools such as Adobe, Flare, and/or Oxygen.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferences

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Education, Instructional Design, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in technical writing, training development, instructional design, or a related role.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and controlled documentation in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and Instructional Systems Design (ISD).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Strong project management, organization, and time-management skills.
