Position Title: NDT Quality Test Specialist 3 – Eddy Current

Pay Rate: $33.50/hr (W2)

We are seeking experienced NDT Quality Test Specialists to perform Eddy Current non-destructive testing (NDT) on aircraft and related components. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and strict adherence to quality standards. Work will be conducted onsite in a shop environment with occasional travel for certification purposes.
Perform setup of specialized non-destructive test and measurement equipment in accordance with controlled standards.
Conduct Eddy Current inspections on aircraft structures and components, including bolt holes, corrosion/thickness, surface/sub-surface, and conductivity assessments.
Develop and document procedures, processes, and technique sheets for test equipment setup.
Perform tests, collect data, analyze results, and assist with corrective action recommendations.
Maintain detailed quality records and prepare test reports for internal and external customers.
Provide feedback on adverse trends and assist in developing solutions.
Conduct certification preparation training for team members.
3+ years of experience as an NDT Quality Test Specialist.
Recent NDI certification in Eddy Current.
Aviation industry experience.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Associate's degree or higher.
Current NDT Level II certification for Eddy Current.
Experience in ET MAUS and ET Low Frequency.
Experience with regulatory agencies such as DCMA, FAA, and/or military inspection authorities.
Must obtain customer approval for PL1 access.
Dual citizenship or prior citizenship in another country may preclude approval.
Requires a third-party background check covering personal/business finances, residence history, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal background.
Successful completion of required training (OJT or classroom) is a contingency for this assignment.
NEO trainings occur weekly.
Contractors must provide required onboarding documentation for access and badging prior to start.
Start Date: August 22, 2025 (or ASAP)
Travel: May be required for initial certification at other sites.
Environment: Shop environment with exposure to high noise levels, ladders, and scaffolding.
Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is required.
