Looking to build a long-term litigation career where mentoring, meaningful responsibility, and client interaction are the standard—not the exception?

Marshall Dennehey, P.C., a nationally recognized Am Law 200 civil defense law firm with more than 60 years of dedicated service, is seeking an experienced Architects and Engineer Errors & Omissions / Construction Defect Attorney (“A&E/CD”) for its Westchester office.

The Opportunity

Specifically, we are seeking candidates who have experience representing design professionals, developers, and contractors in complex construction defect property cases.  Preferably candidates for this position will have a proven trial track record, and experience at the state and federal level.  Candidates should have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage a caseload independently with appropriate support.

We are extremely proud of our sophisticated A&E/CD practice, and our attorney's abilities not only to try cases, but leverage their experience and reputation to achieve excellent results and reach creative resolutions for our clients and their insurers.

The A&E/CD practice group is team-work based and client focused with the opportunity for client interaction and practice growth.

Compensation Range: $130,000 - $200,000 which is negotiable dependent on experience level and portable business.

The posted compensation range for this position is based on several legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Firm. Marshall Dennehey is committed to ensuring equal pay opportunities for equal work regardless of gender, race, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local pay equity laws.

Your Development Matters

At Marshall Dennehey, we invest in our attorneys. While you are not expected to independently manage cases from inception through trial on day one, you will work closely with experienced shareholders and associates who are committed to mentoring and skill development. Through hands-on experience, continuous feedback, and individualized goal-setting, you will gain the confidence and capability to grow into full case management at your own pace.

Strong analytical thinking, legal writing, research, and communication skills are highly valued—and continuously refined—within our litigation groups.

Firm Culture

We pride ourselves on a diverse, inclusive, and open-door culture where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is encouraged, and attorneys at all levels have direct access to leadership. Our attorneys thrive because they are supported.

A Long-Term Career

Marshall Dennehey seeks attorneys who are looking for a true “forever home.” We value steady career growth, internal advancement, and attorneys who want to build lasting professional relationships—while helping others succeed along the way.

In return, we offer:

  • Long-term stability and a clear future with the firm
