We are expanding in the Corpus Christi area and looking for a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Professional Pet Bather to join our growing mobile grooming team!

Position Summary
This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal care and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. As a Professional Pet Bather, you will deliver expert bathing services inside a fully equipped mobile grooming unit, ensuring both pets and their owners have a positive, low-stress experience at every appointment.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality bathing services to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Travel to clients' homes or businesses to perform services in our mobile grooming unit
- Conduct pre-bath consultations to assess grooming needs and client preferences
- Perform thorough bathing, drying, brushing, and basic hygiene tasks including ear cleaning, nail trimming, sani trims, and gland expression
- Monitor pets for signs of skin, coat, or health concerns and report observations as needed
- Handle all pets with care, patience, and professionalism to ensure their safety and comfort
- Process client payments and invoices at the completion of each appointment
- Rebook appointments and foster long-term client relationships
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked mobile grooming van and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with animals in a grooming, veterinary, kennel, daycare, or similar setting (Required)
- Comfortable handling pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Strong physical stamina: ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more briefly, stand for extended periods, and work in a confined environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Professional, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required if operating the grooming van)
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in pet bathing, grooming assistance, or mobile grooming services
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to manage multiple client interactions professionally
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or in unpredictable situations
- Ability to problem-solve calmly when mechanical issues arise
Work Environment
- Work is conducted inside a customized, climate-controlled mobile grooming vehicle
- Regular exposure to wet and humid conditions, pet dander, and grooming products
- Role requires working independently without direct supervision for extended periods
