Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced professional Server who views hospitality as a career and takes pride in the craft of restaurant service.


This position is intended for someone who wants to do more than simply take orders and turn tables. We are looking for a hospitality professional who understands that great service requires anticipation, attention to detail, menu knowledge, salesmanship, teamwork, and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for every guest.


As a Server, you will be one of the primary representatives of our restaurant. You will build relationships with guests, guide them through our food and beverage offerings, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and execute polished, attentive service from the moment they are seated until they leave.


We are continuing to grow and elevate our restaurant, and we want someone who is excited to grow with us. The right candidate will bring experience and professionalism to the team while also being open to coaching, education, and continually improving the way we serve our guests.


Responsibilities

• Provide warm, polished, and professional hospitality to every guest
• Build genuine rapport with guests while maintaining appropriate table awareness and pacing
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our food, wine, cocktails, spirits, and other beverage offerings
• Confidently guide guests through the menu and make thoughtful recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar
• Anticipate guest needs rather than waiting to be asked
• Monitor timing, presentation, accuracy, and guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
• Maintain proper steps of service while adapting naturally to the needs of each table
• Practice responsible and professional suggestive selling
• Work closely with bartenders, hosts, bussers, kitchen staff, and management to create a seamless guest experience
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly prepared sections and service stations
• Handle guest checks and payments accurately
• Take ownership when something goes wrong and involve management appropriately
• Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas that can improve our service and guest experience
• Help maintain high standards of professionalism, teamwork, cleanliness, and hospitality throughout the restaurant

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant required
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in upscale dining, steakhouses, craft beverage programs, or other hospitality-focused restaurants
• A genuine interest in restaurants and hospitality as a profession
• Strong food and beverage knowledge, or a serious desire to develop it
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, polished, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of guests
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain composed and organized during high-volume service
• Coachable and receptive to feedback
• Dependable, punctual, and accountable
• Team-first mentality with a willingness to help outside of your immediate section
• Familiarity with food safety and responsible alcohol service standards
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and safely carry trays, plates, and other service items
