Job Summary
Belden's Professional Services Engineer serves as a key customer-facing expert responsible for delivering advanced automated networking and cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will assess, design, implement, configure, commission, and optimize complex IT and OT network environments, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout every engagement.
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will apply deep expertise in network architecture, data protection, and orchestration best practices to improve performance and reliability across customer networks. Your contributions will directly support client success while reinforcing Belden's position as a leader in industrial networking solutions. Responsibilities include:

CompTIA Network+ or Security+

Industrial Networking Certifications such as:
Rockwell ACP
Siemens Industrial Networking certifications
Cloud & virtualization certifications:
AWS Solutions Architect
Microsoft Azure Administrator
Wireless certifications:
CWNA
Preferred Tools Experience
Networking & Security:
Switches, routers, and industrial Ethernet devices (Belden, Hirschmann, Cisco, Moxa)
Firewalls and security appliances (e.g., Belden, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Tripwire)
Monitoring & Management:
Network monitoring platforms (Industrial HiVison, SNMP tools, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
Packet analysis tools (Wireshark, TCPdump)
Wireless Network (NetSpot, Ekahu, etc)
Automation & Orchestration:
Network configuration automation tools (Ansible, Python scripts, YAML‑based config templates)
OT/ICS orchestration platforms (Belden, Tripwire Enterprise & ICS-focused tools)
Documentation & Reporting:
Microsoft Visio for network diagrams & process flows
Word/Excel/PowerPoint for reporting and customer documentation
Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow for project, service, and knowledge management
Operating Systems & Environments:
Windows, Linux, and embedded OS‑based devices
Virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V)
Ability to travel to perform the duties of the role (Travel Frequency: +50%)

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $110,000 - $145,000.00, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
