Position Responsibilities:

Collaborate with AWS field sales, presales, training and support team to help customers and partners on key engagements in technical cloud computing using AWS. Develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects and technical workshops. Support implementation projects and assist customers with cloud computing & processing capabilities. Help partners and customers utilize AWS services which include understanding customer requirements, proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements. Support new distributed computing solutions spanning private and public cloud services. Migrate existing applications and develop new ones using AWS cloud services.

Position Requirements:

Master"s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor"s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master"s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) experience with Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language; (2) experience with automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure; (3) experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other similar tools; (4) experience with microservices or distributed application architecture; and (5) hands-on technical experience with mainframe, non-x86 legacy systems and with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, PL/I, Java, REXX, flat/sequential files, GDGs, or VSAM.
