    As the 4th largest public college of education in the country and the 3rd largest college at UGA, the Mary Frances Early College of Education (MFE COE) improves the lives of residents of Georgia and beyond through our instruction, research, and service. The MFE COE is a comprehensive college with disciplines focused on teacher preparation, counseling and human development, communication sciences, human movement sciences, career development, student affairs, and educational administration and policy. We place significant emphasis on graduate education with approximately 40% of our students at the graduate level, making us the second largest college at UGA with respect to graduate education.

    Preferred Qualifications Position Summary

    Provides administrative, organizational, and outreach support to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force internally and in the community. Assists with administrative tasks, supports events, provides management/logistical research projects, and supports grant development.

    This is a partial-year position aligned with the academic year calendar.

    Administrative & Operational Support to CLASE

    Provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the effective functioning of CLASE and alignment with its mission and strategic priorities.

    • Maintain and regularly update the CLASE website to ensure accurate, accessible, and mission-aligned content.
    • Organize and manage digital infrastructure (e.g., OneDrive) to support efficient document storage, retrieval, and collaboration.
    • Coordinate scheduling and calendar management for the Executive Director, including prioritizing meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support communications by responding to inquiries, drafting correspondence, and submitting communications and marketing requests.
    • Manage procurement and distribution of program materials and supplies; oversee mailings and related logistics.
    • Provide general administrative coordination to support research, outreach, and partnership activities.

    Research Project Logistics & Data Management

    Supports the implementation of rigorous, evidence-based research initiatives aligned with CLASE's mission to improve outcomes for Latine communities across the P-20 continuum.

    • Coordinate and track research project activities using tools such as Airtable and OneDrive to ensure timely and organized execution.
    • Manage research logistics including participant recruitment support, ordering ClinCards, and processing participant payments in accordance with institutional policies.
    • Maintain accurate, secure, and well-organized research data and documentation using a high standard of ethical practice and confidentiality.
    • Assist with project coordination across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
    • Contribute to continuous process improvement to strengthen research operations and data integrity.

    Grant Development & Funding Support

    Contributes to the development of external funding proposals that advance CLASE's research, outreach, and partnership initiatives.

    • Conduct proactive searches to identify and track potential funding opportunities aligned with CLASE's strategic priorities.
    • Assist in preparing grant proposals, including drafting narrative sections, compiling literature reviews, and developing supporting visuals and documentation.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather required materials and ensure timely submission of proposals.
    • Maintain organized records of funding opportunities, submissions, and outcomes.

    Community Outreach, Engagement & Partnership Support

    Supports initiatives that position CLASE as a trusted, socially responsible partner within the community and advance dissemination of research and resources

    • Serve as a liaison with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders, representing CLASE with professionalism, cultural responsiveness, and integrity.
    • Coordinate and support outreach initiatives, events, and meetings that promote engagement and knowledge-sharing.
    • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences via email, phone, and in-person interactions to strengthen relationships and partnerships.
    • Assist in disseminating research findings and resources to educators, policymakers, and community partners.
    • Support efforts to build and sustain local, national, and international collaborations aligned with the unit's mission.
