110580 -Senior Process Architect
"Position Purpose:
Accountable to drive simplification and consistency across claims processes, take end to end process ownership for enterprise claims, and share key performance metrics with claims executive leaders. Navigates process simplification to drive year over year improvements in KPI outcomes across all health plans and platforms. Serves as a thought leader, collaborating with other claims consultants who collectively drive data-based decisions regarding future state process design and needs. The process team serves as action leaders within operations, driving the implementation of envisioned manual or technology enabled improvements. This role does not directly supervise others but will require ability to operate with executive presence and emotional intelligence sufficient to collaborate at all levels of the organization and operate in peer relationships with Senior Managers, Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents as a participant in process governance when required to drive process map.Education/Experience:
A minimum of 6 years of related experience in driving process transformation and simplification within a large corporate environment. Experience facilitating of distributed team process workshops. Operating model design and merger integration experience within a managed care environment highly preferred. Demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to automated, customer self-service, and manual processing in the end-to-end environment described in position responsibilities across Centene s ecosystems or at other managed care industry payers strongly preferred. A Bachelor's degree in health care management, quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science). A Master s degree preferred.
License/Certification: ASQ CMBB; ASQ CSSBB; Shingo Gold, Certified Lean Master Black Belt; Certification in one or more enterprise architecture practices preferred.
Travel: Expect 20% travel including overnight.
"The Senior Process Architect owns the outcomes and maturation of an end-to-end customer facing process intended to {Process Purpose}, starting with {Event that marks entry into the end-to-end process life cycle} and concluding with {Event that marks exit from the end-to-end process life cycle or beginning of a next iteration}
Share accountability with operations executive leaders efficiency, effectiveness, financial, and customer experience metrics that depend on processes this consultant owns.
Accountable to eliminate one off processes & workarounds, merge and align similar processes while driving standard patterns with executive level partners.
Deliver operational metric improvements through structural improvement projects.
Facilitate development of new operating models within a focused domain; participates in evaluation of strategic priorities, capable to answer inquiries why a priority is important with data and influence.
Uses customer insights to optimize customer journey and represent customer perspectives in project teams while applying industry standards for maturing capabilities.
Maintains long term executive focus on the metrics most relevant to strategic direction and negotiates shared metric responsibilities between key leaders across the enterprise
Serves as business stakeholder in in enterprise data stewardship and governance; uses influence to create demand for data driven decision making within process area; coaches team as required.
Fosters reputation as a trusted advisor to Sr Manager & Director level business leaders; provides end to end process and customer experience insight across a focused national process area in support of process simplification, consolidation, and optimization.
Create team or event charter; facilitates leadership conversations or conflict resolution with multiple teams, individuals via in person or virtual meetings.
Mentors and develops process architects as facilitators and lean practitioners in partnership with continuous improvement team.
