The Department of Organizational Behavior (OB) at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University invites applications for a full-time, tenured faculty position at the rank of (full) Professor of Organizational Behavior and H. R. Horvitz Professor in Family Business, to begin on July 1, 2027. We are seeking a world-class scholar and educator with outstanding credentials in the family business field, having international recognition as a scholar who possesses an exceptional research and teaching record at the intersection of OB and Family Business. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of driving high-impact research and education, fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations, and anchoring our institution's commitment to the study and support of family enterprises.
Candidates should have a PhD in OB, management, or a related social science field, ten or more years of teaching experience in management education, a record of research excellence including publications in top-tier management and family business journals, academic leadership skills including providing strategic direction for family business initiatives within the School and the vision to leverage the resources of the endowed chair to advance the field globally, outstanding teaching and mentorship including teaching core and elective courses in organizational behavior, leadership, and family business at undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and executive education levels, and evidence of business and community engagement including translating academic insights into actionable knowledge and programs for family business practitioners and multigenerational business leaders.

The annual starting base salary range for this position is $225,000.
