The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at East Tennessee State University invites applications for a Professor of Practice position beginning January 2027.
The department has 12 tenured or tenure-track faculty, 4 full-time teaching staff, and 3 adjunct instructors. It serves 49 undergraduate majors with concentrations in statistics, computational applied mathematics, mathematical sciences, and mathematics teacher education. Additionally, there are 19 graduate students pursuing an MS in Mathematical Sciences and 16 in an MS in Applied Data Science.
