The Freeman School of Business at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure system faculty position in Information Systems in the Management Science area. The appointment - at the rank of Professor or Practice is for three years, beginning July 1, 2027. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are competitive with other major research institutions. Hiring for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the University.
Professors of Practice and Lecturers at the Freeman School deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses, often with an experiential learning focus and are expected to remain active in their fields through professional and scholarly activities. Service to the Management Science Area, the Freeman School, and Tulane University is expected.

Candidates are expected to be either professionally qualified (i.e., Master''s Degree in Management Science or a related field and a substantial record of recent professional experience) or academically qualified (i.e., Ph.D. in Management Science and actively engaged in scholarly and/or professional engagement activities). We seek collegial candidates with demonstrated excellence in communication skills and/or success in classroom teaching, experience with experiential learning, and the ability to build relationships with industry partners. Candidates should also have expertise in advanced business analytics, using Excel, R, and Python, and in data visualization, using Tableau and/or Power BI.
