The Department of Management in the Phillips School of Business at High Point University invites applications for a highly motivated and qualified Professor of the Practice of Supply Chain Management.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in supply chain management, operations management, project management, global logistics, and related areas. Responsibilities also include advising and mentoring undergraduate students, contributing to curriculum and program development, serving the school and university, and engaging in scholarly research.
The candidate will collaborate with faculty across the Department of Management and the Phillips School of Business. The school supports a broad range of theoretical and methodological perspectives, values collaborative research, and encourages faculty to work across divisions and areas of specialization.
The candidate will lead efforts to expand experiential learning opportunities that connect classroom instruction with supply chain practice. In collaboration with industry partners, the candidate will create internships, company-based projects, site visits, case competitions, simulations, guest-speaker events, and other hands-on experiences that enable students to apply their knowledge. Drawing on professional experience and industry relationships, the candidate will expose students to real-world supply chain challenges and practices, helping prepare graduates to enter and succeed in the profession.
