Craft profiles with purpose
Imagine dialing in a Davis-Standard, selecting a 3 inch die, and watching a perfect profile emerge as downstream pullers and winders keep pace. At SpringSeal, Inc., that is the craft you will practice on our second and third shift profile lines.
Your mission
Own the process from setup to finished coil. You will configure the extruder, select dies between 2 and 4.5 inches, tune parameters, and guide material through downstream finishing while verifying that every dimension matches the print.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate complete profile extrusion lines using Welex, NRM, Davis-Standard, and American Kuhne equipment.
- Install dies, establish line settings, and stabilize processes for repeatability.
- Run downstream equipment: pullers, cutters, winders, printers, and welders.
- Operate Vulcan, Goodman, CDS, and RDN downstream systems and make in-process adjustments.
- Use calipers and micrometers to check dimensions; verify against simple prints and work instructions.
What you will need
- Minimum 2 years of profile extrusion experience.
- Proficiency with precision measurement, blueprint reading, shop math, and following instructions.
- Personal tools suitable for setup and adjustment tasks.
