STATUS: Full Time; 37.5 hours / week
HOURS: Monday Friday 8:00AM - 3:30PM
LOCATION: Garden City Senior Center - Monroeville
SALARY: $15.65/hour
Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities:Assists the program team in implementing program plans, provides personal care assistance to clients and acts as a valuable team member supporting assigned ratios.
Demonstrates and reflects a commitment to the mission and values of Milestone by serving others with respect, dignity and compassion.
Utilizes Sanctuary Model’s shared values, the Seven Commitments and tools to conduct daily tasks.
Assists in the design and implementation of group and individual instruction including data collection and goal implementation under the supervision of the assigned Program Specialist and/or Instructor.
Provides input into individual assessments, outcomes and goals.
Directly supervises program participants at required ratio during scheduled work hours (1:1, 1:3, 1:6).
Provides behavioral supports including execution of SEEP (Social, Environmental & Emotional Support Plans), Restrictive Procedure Plans and Behavior Plans as written.
Provides personal assistance, including lifts and transfers.
Completes all required paperwork within assigned timeframes.
Promotes skill growth and independence of clients.
Acts as a role model for positive client behavior.
Assists the program with identifying and maintaining community involvement activities for clients.
Transports clients by vehicle (PA driver licensed staff only).
Maintains and organizes the work area.
Addresses clients’ unmet safety or welfare needs apparent during program hours.
Performs relevant and reasonable work assigned by the Director.
Maintain safe/healthy environment.
Participates in meetings/trainings as assigned by Supervisor.
Assist in training and mentoring new staff with day-to-day responsibilities.

Citizen Care Inc. provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.
Exceptional Adventures has more than 40 years of experience providing vacation opportunities, social events and monthly dances for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our recreational and travel programs are designed to support guests in a wide variety of activities. Organized trips include motor coach, flight, train and cruise packages which are offered year-round.

The Partners For Quality Foundation conducts fundraising for all organizational services and supports. Partners For Quality Inc. receives operating funds through various sources, private gifts, grants and special events helping the agency go “above and beyond” basic needs. The Foundation’s goal is to build and strengthen PFQ’s support resources to supplement government dollars.
