Description: Seeking an opportunity to support mission-critical operations within the Department of Defense while growing your expertise in program management and data analytics? ROCIMG is a consulting firm serving federal and commercial clients with a focus on strategy, transformation, program management, technology, and cybersecurity. We are seeking a Program Analyst to support Business Execution services. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with at least two (2) years of experience who can operate confidently in a visible federal environment and contribute meaningfully to reporting, analytics, and program coordination. The Program Analyst will support performance tracking, executive reporting, workflow management, and data-driven decision support to ensure disciplined and responsive program execution.

Position Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of business activities including reporting, task tracking, and milestone coordination.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data to support performance measurement and leadership decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, performance summaries, and executive-ready reports.
  • Assist in tracking deliverables, action items, and timelines to ensure alignment with program priorities.
  • Support development of leadership briefings, meeting materials, and status updates.
  • Contribute to process documentation, workflow improvement initiatives, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify trends, risks, or inconsistencies in program data and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal team members and customer stakeholders to ensure responsiveness and timely execution.
  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting deliverables.

Formal Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, reporting, federal support services, or related environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, concise visual and written summaries.
  • Experience developing dashboards or structured reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a client-facing federal environment.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a hybrid setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capability.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting federal or DoD programs.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience supporting PMO or business execution functions.
  • Exposure to acquisition or small business program environments.

Location: DMV-area candidates due to on-site customer engagement requirements in Arlington, VA.

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to successfully complete background investigation requirements.
  • Ability to support occasional travel (estimated 5–15%) for conferences, stakeholder engagements, or industry events as required by customer.

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time

Salary: $65,000 - $77,000, plus bonus. Final salary is determined by relevant experience, demonstrated analytical capability, federal exposure, geographic location, and ability to operate in a structured, client-facing environment.
