A6 Scientific Corp. is a federal contractor providing professional and technical support services to government clients. We are hiring a Program Analyst to support a federal healthcare client in Long Beach, CA.


Position Overview


A6 Scientific Corp. is seeking a thoughtful, analytical, and detail-oriented Program Analyst to support space management, planning, and capital project decision-making in a federal healthcare environment.


This is not a general business analyst role. This position supports healthcare space planning, data analysis, project planning, and decision support for a large medical campus. The work may include analyzing data, supporting space surveys, helping plan moves and renovations, and turning facility needs into clear planning recommendations.

Key Responsibilities


Data Analysis and Reporting


  • Research, collect, and organize data from internal systems and databases
  • Analyze data to support planning, project decisions, and space management needs
  • Prepare charts, summaries, reports, and presentation materials
  • Support data modeling, statistical review, and reporting activities
  • Present information in a clear way for both technical and non-technical audiences
Space Planning and Project Support


  • Support space management surveys and campus planning activities
  • Help document how space is being used across the facility
  • Assist with move planning related to renovations, construction, or department requests
  • Support project teams with planning documents, analysis products, and decision-support materials
  • Help translate space and facility needs into structured project recommendations
Coordination and Team Support


  • Attend meetings and working sessions with internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Support planning, activation, and project management teams with data and documentation
  • Review assessments and recommendations for completeness and compliance
  • Maintain organized records, trackers, and analysis files
  • Work closely with team members from different functional backgrounds
Minimum Qualifications


Candidates must meet one of the following:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Urban Planning, Geography, Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Analytics, or a related field; or
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in data analysis, space management, facilities planning, or capital project support
In addition, candidates should have:


  • At least 2 years of experience in data analytics
  • At least 1 year of project management or project coordination experience
Required Skills


The team must collectively support these areas, but strong candidates should bring experience in several of the following:


  • SQL for data querying and extraction
  • R, SAS, or similar analytical tools
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and database work
  • Ability to organize information and build clear decision-support materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in a healthcare, hospital, facilities, or federal environment
  • Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS tools
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar design review tools
  • Familiarity with space planning, facility planning, or capital project planning
  • Experience presenting findings to leadership, stakeholders, or project teams
  • PMP, AICP, or similar certification is a plus
Work Schedule and Work Environment


  • Full-time
  • On-site in Long Beach, California
  • Standard schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Overtime may be needed based on project needs and client approval
  • This role is in a federal healthcare facility environment
  • No remote or hybrid work

To meet contract requirements, candidates must be able to:


  • Work fully on-site in Long Beach, CA
  • Pass required background screening before starting work
  • Complete required onboarding steps for access to a VA facility
  • Follow client site policies, badge requirements, privacy rules, safety rules, and professional workplace standards
  • Work professionally with internal teams, client staff, and stakeholders
