Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Fleet Planning, Outfitting, and Support Directorate; Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will serve as an expert analyst for the computational models for Retail and Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) and Demand Allowance Product production. You will apply sound judgment in determining the proper review method and procedure for overall data content, identifying potential/existing problems; the development and implementation of solutions to the satisfaction of the fleet. You will participate in research to identify new concepts, techniques and practices relative to allowance models to analyze and evaluate new program feasibility. You will report results and advise recommendations to team leads and Department management. You will research and investigate new or improved business and management practices to apply to Maritime Allowance programs or operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Program Analyst specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Analyzing statistical and data reviews comparing various allowance output to identify potential problems and recommend potential solutions. 2) Researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices to apply to Maritime Allowance programs or operations. 3) Utilizing various systems and databases to develop, execute and assess Retail and Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) projects to support required readiness objectives. 4) Overseeing and coordinating the efforts of operations of Maritime components using written/ oral communication skills within a team environment. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Program Analyst specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Analyzing statistical and data reviews comparing various allowance output to identify potential problems and recommend potential solutions. 2) Researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices to apply to Maritime Allowance programs or operations. 3) Utilizing various systems and databases to develop, execute and assess Retail and Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) projects to support required readiness objectives.
