The Community Center Program Assistant supports all community center activities, assisting visitors, clients, and staff, and serving as the main resource in the absence of the Director.
Responsibilities include ensuring the well-being of participants, providing hospitality, facilitating group activities, enforcing safety and emergency procedures, and assisting with meal service.
Additional duties involve maintaining cleanliness of floors, restrooms, and dining areas, and performing related cleaning tasks.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in youth programs, social services, or food service.
Skills required are basic computer literacy, and certifications such as First Aid and CPR are desirable.
The role requires at least 16 years of age and the ability to complete necessary safety and health trainings.
