    Primary Duties and

    Responsibilities:

    Position purpose:

    Serve as support to multiple department chairs and faculty with daily operations, including answering phones/emails and directing office traffic during regular business hours.

    Essential Functions:

    1. Update and manage course scheduling via Classfinder.

    2. Provide administrative support for organizational, informational and communication needs to faculty and staff including answering the Curb internships general email as well as assisting and/or fielding student questions. Order general office supplies and classroom supplies.

    3. Manage course evaluation publishing each semester (DIG), faculty workload/NIW forms & collect/post course syllabi each semester.

    4. Schedule catering and room booking as needed for the departments. Serves as CEMB representative to reserve student meetings.

    5. Assist with student recruiting, orientation registration sessions, and college and university events as needed.

    6. Maintain contact database of adjunct faculty and communicate semester reminders, due dates and items needed from adjunct faculty.

    7. Facilitate processing of Argos and development of academic data reports and manage Canvas/internal websites for CEMB committees.

    • Technical, Computer, and Software Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SCT Banner, Argos, Canva) and basic databases and software.

    Required EducationEducation: High School Diploma; Bachelors degree preferred

    Required Experience1-3 years of higher education administrative experience; SCT Banner experience; Canva experience and a working knowledge of databases

    The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
