Program Assistant

Program Assistant position available at PAEC Therapeutic Day Elementary School. Classroom program assistant (teacher aide) to provide support to the classroom program for students with social emotional challenges. Training is provided. Full-time salaried position with medical and dental benefits. Paraprofessional License or Substitute Teaching License required. Location: PAEC Therapeutic Day Elementary School 1636 S. 10th Ave Maywood, IL

Qualifications:

• Paraprofessional Educator License
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 18 years of age (to work in grades PreK to 8th)
• Passing score on ETS Parapro or ACT Workkeys exams
• To learn more about the requirements:

• Substitute Teaching License required. You can obtain a substitute teaching license with a Bachelor's degree in any subject.

Applicant must have no lifting or physical restrictions - able to lift and transfer students if necessary
