Seeking a Program Assistant earning $17.50/hour to provide compassionate, client-centered support at an emergency shelter.
Work schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays, 11PM-7AM.
Responsibilities include fostering a respectful environment, assisting with client needs, documenting activities, supporting safety, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with staff and volunteers. Additional duties involve meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting residents’ well-being.
Qualifications include at least one year of relevant experience, CPR/First Aid and ServSafe® certifications within six months, strong interpersonal skills, accountability, and ability to handle physical tasks.
