Performs specialized work assisting staff in conducting programming and with grant applications. Prepares materials to supplement program presentations; facilitates educational programs; recruits and assists community partners and volunteers; supports grant programming and reporting; assists withmeetings, events, and activities. Manages programmatic projects, including oversight of Mobile Health Clinic operations, through strong communication abilities and a high capacity for multitasking, project/time management, and collaboration skills. Performs various complex clerical duties, including scheduling, data entry, managing and mailing lists, responding to inquiries, telephone and office contact with staff/volunteers/general public, coordinating meetings/programs, and assisting staff as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess one of the following:
• Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) year of experience in planning, conducting, or assisting with program development/educational activities for youth/adults,
OR
• Graduation from high school/equivalent; minimum of two (2) years of college-level coursework (must specify 60-semester/90-quarter hours) in Education, Social/Health Services/related field, or Communications.
PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint),
• Experience working with persons with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV),
• Coursework or experience in social services,
• Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.),
• Experience with virtual communication platforms (Zoom, MS Teams), and
• Bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
