Job Summary:

The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide support for the 4-H Youth Development Program at Lake County Extension Services by assisting with in-school and after school 4-H programs, providing support to faculty, staff, and volunteers, and assisting with educational outreach. This position has a strong emphasis on customer service and volunteer group interaction. The position is responsible for performing various logistic and administrative functions associated with Extension program efforts and community events to include coordination with volunteers and faculty to work cooperatively on 4-H educational events, responds to resident inquiries, and performs other tasks as required. The position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.

This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires associate degree with two (2) years of related experience. A background in youth work is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the 4-H program is preferred. Requires a Florida Driver\s license.
