About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Program / Business Support Analyst to provide administrative, coordination, and program-support services to a federal science organization. You'll keep projects on track, produce clear reporting, and be the organizational glue that helps scientists and managers focus on the mission.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and clerical support using standard office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email)
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute correspondence, reports, manuals, training materials, and documentation
• Track deliverables, schedules, and task-order activity; maintain automated tracking of personnel, due dates, and program data
• Prepare reports on cost, schedule, and technical progress; compile status updates and briefing materials
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and logistics; record and document meeting results
• Support program coordination across technical, budget, and management stakeholders

$75,000 - $79,000 a year
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of administrative, program-support, or business-analyst experience (federal environment preferred)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation; U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or a related field
• Experience supporting the U.S. Department of the Interior or a federal science/research program
• Familiarity with deliverable tracking, project coordination, or technical writing/editing
