    What you will be doing:

    Come join our team and play a key role in advancing Alaskas Medicaid program, with a focus on licensed behavioral health services.

    In this position, you will be responsible for providing outreach, communication, training, technical support, and all licensing activities pertaining to residential childcare facilities (RCCF) and adult mental health residential homes (AMHR). You will work closely with providers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with state statutes and regulatory standards that govern residential care facilities and ensure background check processing of RCCF and AMHR licensed providers under the authority of the Department of Health.

    Additionally, you will be responsible for investigating reports of abuse and neglect, complaints against licensed RCCF and AMHR providers, and conducting licensure activities for all RCCF homes. You will assist with reviewing referrals for the Complex Behavior Collaborative (CBC) program and Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASSR). This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the alignment of behavioral health services with state and federal regulations, while driving continuous improvement in provider performance.

    • Project Management: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.

    Special Notice:

    • This position requires frequent Travel via airplane or vehicle to remote locations throughout the State of Alaska or the Lower 48 to conduct inspections.
