Position Summary:
SUNY Ulster, a two-year branch of the State University of New York located ninety miles north of New York City in the Catskill Mountains, is currently accepting applications for a Program Coordinator: CASAC, Allied Health, and Heath Care.
The Program Coordinator - CASAC, Allied Health and Health Care is a visionary education leader that works with students, Instructors, and employers to create stackable career pathways that serve the students, the employers and the College. By working with multiple academic departments, sometimes across institutions, the Program Coordinator will lead SUNY Ulster to be a student-centered, innovative leader in the development and implementation of stackable pathways to livable wage careers under the health care umbrella.
The successful candidate will be expected to program a variety of workforce training courses specifically aimed at the growth and economic development of Ulster County. These pathways will include but not be limited to internships, apprenticeships and industry credentials. Course areas include but are not limited to Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC), allied health, and health care. Individuals with an education in one or more of the programming areas are encouraged to apply as are those with a communications, education, English or business degree and those with project management experience. Some evening hours will be required. The Program Coordinator reports to the Assistant Dean of Workforce and Career Development.

An initial starting salary of $52,500 with an excellent benefits package. This position is contingent upon adequate funding.
